Agbutun
I am an Afro-folk/Afro-soul artist from Nigeria who crafts music deeply rooted in traditional African Folk and soul sounds. My music showcases a blend of expressive vocals accompanied with contemporary guitar and percussions. Influenced by musical greats such as the Bongeziwe Mabandla, Rokia Traore, Jacob Banks, Michael Kiwanuka, India Arie, Mali Music, most recently the Malian artist Ali Farka Toure and a few others. I have performed on different stages within Nigeria. I was part of Top 17 contestants of Nigerian Idol 6.
I create a unique fusion of sound that seamlessly integrates my dialect Eggon Language and English, resulting in a warm, enchanting, and bold musical experience.
