Noëlla Raoelison is a golden voice, author - composer, singer and dancer, originally from Madagascar.
She grew up in the kingdom of Menabe, (southwest of Madagascar), the cradle of Malagasy blues.
Daughter of musicians, she was lulled from a young age by the songs and traditional music of her country and also by rock, blues and soul.
She works at “Studio Mars” in Tananarive, which produces the “stars” of the big island before installed in France in 2006.
Noëlla Raoelison offers us current and powerful world music, which combines tradition and modernity, sung in her native language, "Sakalava", a percussive dialect with captivating sounds.
She wants to convey strong messages in her compositions. Her songs, representative of a world in movement, speak of uprooting, exile, ecology, corruption and back to basics.
On stage, she also performs covers of M.Makeba, A.Kidjo, Mikea (Madagascar), Njava (Madagascar) and songs from different tribes, to promote the cultural diversity of Madagascar.
Olo raike : One humanity The song Olo Raike was born from the meeting between the singer Noëlla Raoelison, (Madagascar), the musician singer "Kilema" (Madagascar), the Franco-Armenian composer "Tchal", the guitarist Alexandre Bigot (blues & rock) and the bassist Franco-Turkish Matthieu Destailleur (classical / pop). It is a unifying song about social diversity, acceptance of others, foreigners or different people. It advocates unity and reflects a “free and creative” rainbow society that is being built.
