Deon Eimi
Deon Eimi is a drummer, songwriter and music producer from Rome based in Berlin.
Active as a session drummer libe and in studio since 2015 he has worked with a wide range of different artists from different musical background. From Jazz/Fusion with the septet "Open Letter" where he also recorded their homonym ep, to Alternative Pop with "Baby Smith" touring all over Europe (Waking Life ,Portugal - Waves festival, Austria - Left of the Dial , Netherlands etc.)
Along side his activity as a drummer he has gained experiences in recording studios as sound engineer by working alongside Mouse on Mars, Francisco Stuart Milne and partecipated in session with masters such as Moses Schneider and Lee Scratch Perry.
In 2021 he started a solo multimedia project called "SIRIO_II" as a songwriter. With this project he partecipated in the artist residency "Fusion" in Akkra,Ghana in 2024.
He is currently working with Sound Artist and Designer Dario Felli for a new media project for sound installations
