Motho 'Carlos' Bomela known as Gunchesa was born 13 October 1988 In Aliwal North South Africa.
Gunchesa is a kwaito Artist who grew up in Aliwal North Eastern Cape, South Africa.
His music makes him stand out from most kwaito artists in the game today. In 2013 GUNCHESA was crowned EASTERN CAPE’s KING OF KWAITO.
He brings a genuine roughness in his music, by use of “tsotsi taal”. He has great story-telling abilities as an artist (talking about real life, everyday issues, from love and relationships to poverty.
He also featured to [STROKE 5 THE MOVIE] the movie that was short in ALIWAL NORHT 2017.
In 2003 Gunchesa released his first single tiltled “SENZENI”.
In 2015 GUNCHESA was nominated for “BEST KWAITO” in EASTERN CAPE MUSIC AWARDS, held in Wilsonia Multi Purpose Center.
