Michael Morris
Hi, I'm Michael - a UK voice artist and musician living in Zürich. I began as a drummer playing jazz and pop before moving on to percussion, mainly focusing on cajon and Afro-Cuban congas. My main instrument is the voice - singing, speaking and sounding. I love improvisation as well as song-writing, and enjoy both acoustic and electronic music. For the last 20 years I've been working as a professional voice actor representing major international brands.
Fly away was a co-creation of all the collaborative members. It serves as a message of inspiration, to fly, explore the world, make experiences, but always come back to our inner home. It is the message of embracing the journey of life, and the inner knowing that we are never alone, we have each other. MaryNova, Mataora and Michael Morris came together at a spiritual festival, in that same instance they were on stage together. When they play, they fly together, and take everyone with them.

The song consists of melodies and harmonies that have flowed well in Hai's mind for years, Michael Morris wrote the lyrics as a letter from the Higher Self to the Little Self. With Haim's unique Hang sound and percussion, the song is dedicated to the children of this world.. and to the child within us all.
