Nancy Cano, a Colombia Bassist, is currently a performer, educator, and session musician. Her distinct sound emerges from exploring melodic approaches in bass lines, seamlessly blending them with afro-Colombian rhythms with a modern production context. Engaged in the production of several albums, she collaborates with artist and has graced prestigious venues alongside national ad international musicians. In May 2023, Nancy participated in the American Music Abroad program sponsored by the U. S Embassy. Subsequently, in September 2023, she achieved the distinction of winning OneBeat 12, representing Colombia in an international musical exchange and residency program in the USA, endorsed by the embassy.
