SEAYOOL

About me

London, United Kingdom

SEAYOOL, a composer, music director, and innovative piri performer, translates contemporary sensations into auditory experiences, offering audiences a glimpse into the zeitgeist through music. His compositions, exploring the theme of perception, range from improvised solos to fully scored string quartets.

His 45-minute improvisational piece, "Pyridoxine," constructs and deconstructs musical elements, showcasing his unique artistic voice. Following this, he explores "scoring the senses" in "Island: Island," a performance merging music and installation art developed during a residency on Jeju Island, known for its beauty and scarred history. This experiment birthed "Suite for Jeju No.1," scored for string quartet and piri.

SEAYOOL's work has evolved to include "Data Scoring," visualizing real-time sensory data through brainwaves to drive visual projections.
