About me

Villejuif, France

I'm a singer, songwriter and composer of Sahraoui Moroccan heritage. My musical universe, steeped in jazz, Arab-Andalusian sounds and the songs of Oum Kalthoum, reflects my roots and my various influences. My beginnings in the band of the youth center of Salé, and my training at the Rabat Conservatory have permitted me to collaborate with Moroccan and international artists. On stage, I combine singing, hassanie dance and percussion (tbal sahraoui, Moroccan bendir) to offer a unique experience. My songs are about love, nomadic life, envirement and social issues such as domestic violence. In Europe, I have collaborated with ensembles such as Takht Attourath, Adel Shams El Dine and Gaada Diwane of Béchar, as well as with musicians from diverse backgrounds. My projects include the Albums "Koulthoumyates", "Airs désert", "Oriental Jazz" and "It's Me", an album currently in production.
