Rut Alonso
Musician, charango player, composer, and Qichwa-Aymara researcher who performs and creates works based on indigenous rhythms using various types of charango. Her work conveys a deep respect for nature, preserves ancestral knowledge, and inspires the defense of human rights.
In 2023, she was honored with the Cultural Merit Award by the Commission of Indigenous Native Peasant Nations and Peoples of the Plurinational State of Bolivia.
Her musical journey has led her to perform on stages in Mexico, Brazil, Paraguay, Bolivia, and Argentina.
