Steven Feifke, born June 21st 1991, is a New York City based bandleader, pianist, composer and arranger. Feifke frequently works as a musical director, and in addition to his work within the jazz world, he has written music featured in film, television and theater, and conducts large ensemble recording sessions as well. In 2014, at age 24, he was commissioned by the 23Arts Initiative to write a genre defying arrangement of Gershwin's symphonic "Rhapsody In Blue" to feature his big band and guest concert pianist. Today his big band can be seen regularly performing in New York at the Django, and also at Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola.
Feifke maintains an active performance schedule as a pianist both in and out of New York City with his trio at venues like The Blue Note, Smalls Jazz Club, and Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola at Lincoln Center.
