One of the most creative Brazilian soloists, multi-instrumentalists ( all saxes, flutes and native brazilian indians bamboo flutes ) and producer Teco Cardoso was born in multi-cultural city of Sao Paulo.  Cardoso lived for a while in Los Angeles, studying with brazilian composer/arranger Moacir Santos, then returned to his native country, where he has been performing with such important Brazilian artists as Dori Caymmi, Edu Lobo, Joyce, Joao Donato, Marlui Miranda, Baden Powell, Carlos Lira, Guinga, Rosa Passos, Monica Salmaso, Grupo Pau Brasil, Quinteto Vento em Madeira among others.Latin Grammy award as the “Best Classical Album” in 2004 and a Grammy nomination in 2005 as the “Best Crossover Album” with Cd and DVD Jobim Sinfônico (Biscoito Fino, 2003 – Adventure Music, 2005), –In 2009 won a Grammy award as best Jazz Group with the albun “Randy in Brasil”(Randy Brecker),“a vibrant soloist with a high tropical energy“ ( Le Monde Paris ),“a true inventor (LA Calendar John Payne)
