Alita Moses is a Connecticut-born vocalist taking the music scene by storm. After earning a BM in Jazz Vocal Performance at the University of the Arts in Philly, she made her way to New York City where she has performed with Shawn Mendes, Vic Mensa on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, recorded with members of the Christian McBride Big Band, and wowed audiences of famous venues such as Rockwood Music Hall, Mercury Lounge, Joe’s Pub, and many more. Internationally, Alita has toured Europe with the Walter Fischbacher jazz trio, opened up for Al Jarreau at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland after winning the Shure Montreux Jazz Vocal Competition the year before, wooed audiences in China at Jazz at Lincoln Center Shanghai, and headlined at the BUAP Music Festival in Puebla, Mexico. Alita’s versatility shines through the myriad of bands she fronts in the city and the various recordings she’s made appearances on, most recently that of Grammy-winning trumpeter, Nabate Isles.
