Sufyan
Sufyan is an Iraqi musician who was introduced to the lovely world of music as young as 5 years old when his application to the school of Music and Ballet in Baghdad was accepted with a rare complete mark for application introductory exam.
Since his early years he participated in several musical & TV shows in different theaters and programs in Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, United States & Canada.
His talent was aligned to classical Iraqi maqam by the legendary Iraqi musician Yasin Alrawi, who was one of Iraq's most talented composers, and he played different instruments such as Accordion, Violin & Oud. Sufyan attended personal and private classes given to him by Yasin Alrawi for several years.
On the classical Iraqi musical aspect, he was influenced by Mohammed Algobanchi, Nazim Alghazali, Yosuf Omar, Kuwaiti brothers, Dakhil Hassan, Salima Pasha, Yas Khidir & others. While on the classical Arabic music side, he was influenced by Abdulwahhab, Um Kulthum & Abdilhalim Hafiz.
