THE WAY WE LIVE

This is a critical mirror of reflection for us as humans. It's great to make policies that protect unborn children, but it's bad that enough isn't done to protect those same children and their mothers after they're born. The schools aren't safe, society itself isn't safe. The rules of engagement during war needs to be reformed. Wars used to be solely about conquest these days they're more about marginal claims and policies. Whitemoney confronts criticism, cyber bullying and trolls who criticise a people with dreams and ambition.

SALAM

As conflicts, inequality and discrimination rise, music unites us. It amplifies unheard voices, champions justice, and drives change. Embracing and celebrating diversity and welcoming the synergy that rises, this multilingual song brings us together for a mutual goal: "Salam"/peace. Hussain started the song with the phrase "Salam-u Alaykum"/Peace be upon you, a melody, and two riffs. Tefo added another dimension while Lalou introduced a unique vocal tone, and Collekta and Icyn_k unified these challenging diverse elements into a harmonious piece.

Hopeful

The song speaks to the hopeful hearts of those who yearn for a better tomorrow in all facets of life and partly inspired after the October 20th, 2020 incident in Nigeria where a peaceful protest turned violent and lives were lost. It begins with a chill and calm melodic piano and the soothing voice and inspiring lyrics which is accompanied by the aggression of a rapper as the song crescendos, all in the spirit of conquering one’s conflict.

Dreaming

There is a quote by Brenda Shoshanna that says: "All conflict we experience in the world is a conflict within our own selves". This song is about inner conflict. An ongoing battle between one’s thoughts and emotions. As much as inner conflict is inevitable, dealing with it effectively is essential if we are to live up to our capabilities.

'WISHES'

A wish is one of the most conflicting act of humankind. That simple prayer, desire or expectation for bliss that may or may never come through. An even bigger conflict is daring to make a wish irrespective of what reality is. But we're humans and we never relent. For even if the heavens fall, even if everything is taken from us, nothing will be able to stop us from making a silent, harmless, thoughtful, wish.

Save The World

This is a piece of art for the Earth and a statement of our readiness to save our dear Planet. The song has a native appeal of Afro-Cuban rhythm fused with Pop/Dance and Folk style drama. Initiated by myself (Collekta), I intimated Marshall-Muze about it and the soul in the music. To achieve depth, the project needed a female touch what it received by the vocal of Poggy and the poetic consciousness of Akwasi Marley. A gentle reminder that there's no Planet B for humans. We can only Save The World if we do it together!

Brave, Strong, Bold

“Brave, Strong, Bold” is a motivational song. The song is dedicated to every creative all over the world. It extends to everyone feeling short on courage and urges the listener to take on life without fear despite the existence of challenges, detractors and doubters. It indulges one to stay on their journey and endure the process by keeping their focus on the prize. This song has a cinematic feel and heavy hitting drums with a dark bass synth.

Child Song is a radical call to humanity for Children and Mothers, who have marginally been neglected. It is a reawakening that we all need to focus on a crucial part of society. It is a melodramatic fusion of Jazz, Pop, Poetry, Spoken word and Consciousness. The structure was layered by Marshall-Muze, who sang expressively on the first verse and hook. Akwasi Marley a Ghanaian Rapper and poet played a vital role in the collaboration. Collekta was the producer and highlighted with animated back-ups. Everyone was once a Child.

The World is a Country (Where you From?)

This song stems from classical Reggae, with iconic bass guitar and drum kits. It carries a message of ‘LOVE’ and the idea of looking at the world as a country on its own, regardless of our nationalities, cultures or anything that makes us look different, as human beings. With a chorus chanting the mantra "the world is a country, the world is a country", the nations are called onto this notion, through the solo preaching of Akwasi Marley, from Ghana, in rhythmic poetry, and Marshall-Muze, from Nigeria, in his electrifying set of vocals.
