Wild Like Fire - Nayi Umang
This song is both a paean and a prayer for Mother Earth. The world is facing many challenges and in light of the effects of climate change wreaking havoc on the landscape and quality of life for many, this song is told through the lens of the California wildfires, past present and future. It is not the current generation's fault that the powers behind global capitalism have acted in total disregard of the well being of our planet, but it is our responsibility to reclaim our collective power and make lasting and meaningful changes to save her. Fire can be destructive, but also visually beautiful and a catalyst for new beginnings. The message we hope to convey is one of deep compassion for our planet, and also a wish for the empowerment of the Earth's people.

World Made of Sand
'World Made of Sand' is an unusual hybrid with Hulgo from Mongolia, Juan from Argentina, and Heather from Scotland, working on a latin song composed by Hulgo, then worked on by the others in the collaboration. It's an uplifting, upbeat song about what feels very much like transition times on our turbulent planet. As the lyrics say 'I see the dark clouds on the horizon, do you see them too, do you see the people running to the light, to the hope, the dreams'...It speaks of 'a world made of sand' and the rising and falling of empires but it is still a hopeful, joyful song, full of kind of giddy awareness of a crazy planet, where 'something funny is happening these days'..

Survive
Survive is about hope for the world, and for our future. To remind the world to show love, be united in love, and in strength, only then can we do the impossible and most importantly, carry on during difficult moments.

Breathe
We breathe happily, unconsciously and constantly while we are alive, and we often have this act and all that it involves, as guaranteed gracefully. As we breathe, we grow and learn to know and manage all our first needs. We soon understand that there is indeed something that is not seen but that has an immeasurable importance. They teach us to love trees because basically it is from them that a large part of our oxygen comes from, this precious as well as invisible good. And while Life happens we continue to breathe and tending to evolve as a species, but we also tend to forget the old lessons about trees and we started to lie to ourselves and to our children when we subscribe to any kind of energy that feeds on these precious Forest Founders Beings, even when that same energy says "green" on the label. In this last breath I thank you with a chest full of gratitude, for this magnificent human respiratory system that was created here among colleagues, where ideas emerged as the very act of breathing! Naturally! We are just beginning this collective breathing!. Finally I share the words of companion Elly, who as I usually say, won the song and showed me the best way to unfreeze my English. Muito obrigado a todos! ♥ "This song came out so etheral and fairytale like, reminding me of the most beautiful places in nature. Where one does not think or speak but merely breathes. Breathing is the first step from which smart plans and ideas can come to fruition."
