A string of path making releases have seen me win multiple awards, notably being named twice by MTV Base in the Top Ten African Rappers in 2016 and 2017.

Among the most riveting and energetic performers operating in Africa, i thrive in the heat of local and global competition fluent in Luganda, English and Swahili, and my eclectic style is playful, quirky, aggressive and assertive.

At home with a variety of sounds such as as hip hop, trap, experimental-ism, Soul, Rnb, and Afro-dance hall, my studio productions are cultural statements spurred by collaborations with a wide range of local and international producers such as: Sherrie Silver, David Phelan (Saltwives), Hank Solo, Samy Deluxe, Roland Van Capenhout, Martin 'youth' Glover etc.
My Slogan is Telalila - The Play of God.

Mokili (Earth)

Mokili means Earth in Lingala (Congolese Language). In this A Capella track with African vocals, Latin percussions, European classical influences and ethnic rap, Mankind's voices address Mother Earth in a mea culpa that transcends cultures and geographies. Mokili is based on an Afro - Cuban rhythm. There is a conversation of three different tuned congas in this rhythm. On top of that there is improvisation of another one. David added more percussion to give it a different touch.

Mizani

Keya Nemesis: Mizani is a Swahili word that meant balance. The track Mizani is about taking time to think individually and as a society what balance we need to live in the world to transfer her in a truly better place for generations to come, weighing financial wealth against ecological wealth. In a prophetic tone the chorus asks the questions of what balance? Do we want a corrupt balance which is what we have always had in different versions? Keya Nemesis and Sasha Shlain collaborate to bring a colorful message of action.

GRABBA MAN is a song about the Cumulative Disadvantage of the environmental degradation, inequality, war and the consequences that in them-self further reinforce the poor quality of the majority of life on earth caused by Greed and Consumerism.
