Seize The Day
‘Seize The Day’, written during lockdown by actor and musician Greg Wise, is sung by Heather Ella Rose in the UK, with backing vocals by Marshall Muze in Nigeria, Bass by Neipesmit in Argentina, piano by Juan Barallobres, with drums, guitar, theremin, backing vocals and all production by Lucas Avellina in Argentina. This lovely song is about the importance of appreciating and loving life, even when the day or the time you’re in is hard. It’s a folk type song that starts out small, in the circle of light that is two people, but widens out to take in the enormous change we are now facing - a whole new ordering of things - social injustice, the financial system, and the state of our planet. It is a hopeful song ultimately, as it acknowledges that the ‘world we wove together is unravelling now’, but says ‘take the broken lands, take the broken lives, and heal them now’.

Bumpy Ride
This song is a response to the feeling of turmoil and tumultuousness in the world, now more than ever. It is reflecting something so many people on earth are feeling right now; that we are on a rollercoaster of emotions, thoughts, and new and collapsing realities. It comes from the feeling that we must hold on tight and as the lyrics say; ‘Stand together so we don’t fall down’. It’s a bouncy song, like a wild ride, but it has a strong positive message of resilience and recovery. It’s an ode to survival, and to the human spirit of courage to overcome all things if we only work together.

Pangea
“Pangea” is a song depicting a sense of wholeness and multiplicity. Referring to the hypothetical continent of the past, the song is a nostalgic remembrance of a time when the planet was quite literally a single connected landmass, before separation. Pangaea is a combination of earthly nostalgic strings strung in a harmony of a natural gathering of sounds. Between old and new sounds, rhythms and melodies, and distant collaborations, Pangaea is a piece inspired by a sense of planetary oneness. A oneness of humanity and of earth, and the span of time that encapsulates their common narrative.
