About me

Culver City, United States

I am a producer, acoustic and electric bassist, composer and educator based in Los Angeles. I have been managing the music at a venue in LA called Sam First and will soon be producing a series of records on a new record label co-created by myself and the club owner, in partnership with ArtistShare Records.

In 2014, I graduated from the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz at UCLA, where I studied, performed and traveled with mentors Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Billy Childs, among many others. Before this, I attended The New School (BFA Jazz Studies) and CalArts (MFA Jazz Studies).

My musical taste falls primarily within the broad category of jazz, but that has led me to appreciate so many different style of music from other cultures.

My performance credits include many of today's most respected musicians including Jacky Terrasson, Chris Potter, Larry Goldings, Jane Monheit, Gilad Hekselman, Ben Wendel, Wynton Marsalis, and many others.

Survive

Survive is about hope for the world, and for our future. To remind the world to show love, be united in love, and in strength, only then can we do the impossible and most importantly, carry on during difficult moments.
