Night vision *Bolero)

When I studied music , I heard that once you put a man and a woman in the same room and let them listen to “Bolero” by M. Ravel - by the end of the piece they will fall in love. Even though it’s just a fantasy - I like the idea of “viral” passion of this masterpiece … I used a paraphrase of the Bolero as a starting point for creation of “Night vision”, and then asked Jake and Daniel to go as far as possible from standard improvisational way of thinking…. The result is for you to judge. Enjoy and let your fantasy take you far away :)

A melody , dedicated to my dear friend and guitar player JK, that was a source for inspiration and left too early... Recorded with help of another friend with almost same abbreviation - JaKe, and one of the best music companions I've had - Thomi Geiger on soprano saxophone. There are some cello (Ioanna Seira) and violins on the background (Mihai Ilea and Javier Lopez Sanz) at the end, that made it much more vibrant and warm. Was a pleasure to work on this one.

A collaborative work with amazing israely singer Anat Porat. Took some time, as a piece is very uncommon melody-wise , but the result is (in my opinion) astonishing. Loved every moment of working on it together...
