Jérusalem

the song is about the status of Jerusalem, this small part of land in the Middle East, disputed between Israelis and Palestinians so each claims to be the owner. This song is about an exortation to peace between the two aforementioned parties, the war and hatred not being a factor in the development of a society.

Paradox

Life is conflict in motion. Beneath all the layers & masks we are One. Paradox is full of musical surprises: consonance-dissonance, poly-rhythms, staccato-legato, masculine-feminine & sonic expectation vs reality. Based in the Indian Raga Kiravani this song is in a rare & challenging 18/8 time signature, exploring interesting cross-beat subdivisions of 18, 9, 6, 4.5 & 3. Inverted harmonies, mirror phrases & themes, creative combo of cultures, instruments & textures are the highlight. Yet, beneath all the layers, this song is enjoyable & groovy!

‘Moksha’ in Indian philosophy is the ultimate liberation from conflicts. To me this song is born out of a musical and spiritual conflict. As a guitarist with deep love for both traditional Indian and Western music, I’ve had to earn my freedom a) physically & musically in mastering multiple genres through instrument innovation, and b) socially & emotionally, breaking free of opinion and expectations of purists and traditionalists and carving my own path. ‘Moksha’ is my voice of liberation and ultimately a song that transcends musical boundaries.

The Big Picture

“The Big Picture” is inspired by the feeling when, in the midst of a raging conflict, you suddenly catch a glimpse of the bigger picture. At that moment, everything falls into place and starts to make sense. You realize how insignificant it is to hold on to the struggle. This song embodies the feeling of confidence and strength that comes over you when you suddenly know what you can do. Each of the four artists involved brings their own unique touch to this composition, creating a colorful blend of Jazz and classical Indian music.

The Time Is Now

We live on this beautiful planet, we breathe thanks to it. She generously gives us what we need. The song "The Time is Now" is about our relationship and our behavior towards it and our disconnection from each other. We now know that the resources are not limitless and it is time to reconnect. There are no better times than now. The Time is Now

Our planet is our cradle, of enchanting beauty. "Sento chiamata" is Mother Earth's call to be aware of the incredibly rich diversity of lifeforms that has evolved over millions of years – I protect what I love.

Mizani

Keya Nemesis: Mizani is a Swahili word that meant balance. The track Mizani is about taking time to think individually and as a society what balance we need to live in the world to transfer her in a truly better place for generations to come, weighing financial wealth against ecological wealth. In a prophetic tone the chorus asks the questions of what balance? Do we want a corrupt balance which is what we have always had in different versions? Keya Nemesis and Sasha Shlain collaborate to bring a colorful message of action.

The Chase

Kate: The animals that share the planet with us are diverse and beautiful, but unfortunately countless species are dying out. We think it's important to remind humanity of the beauty they bring to our world, and to treat them with the respect they deserve as equally valuable residents of our planet. Sasha composed this track with the story of the song in mind, and the music expresses the pure exuberance of the life that surrounds us.

Nomad

This work transmits the dukes of Steppe nomads (Turks) who lived from the ancient Khazar Sea (Caspian Sea) to the shores of the Yellow Sea. There are green meadows, mountains, steppes, rivers and other beauties of nature. Here freedom-loving nomads conducted trade and exchanged cultural achievements. Though our ancestors lived in such territory and led a nomadic life, they all had a common language and traditions. And after them, of course, there remained a very rich cultural heritage that led to the creation of such a work.

Our hands and hearts created this song. Use your hands is a gentle meditation to remind ourselves of the power we hold to do the beautiful small things as well as the incredible majestic things and be thankful for what is already there. Mixed by Lukas Gasser. Give the hand to someone is synonym to assist, help, aid, give someone a hand, give someone assistance, guide, convey, conduct, lead.

“I Hear You“ is a piece inspired by the concept of search for perfection that exists only as a product of creative expression. You never see it, but you always follow the “voice” of it. It’s a path to pursue and to dedicate his life to. My partners for this “love affair” were: extraordinary guitar and drumset players from Switzerland and a brilliant and very unconventional cellist from Texas. Each one brings a new aspect and detail to this tune, that definitely become a “fruit” of four.
