MANTRA (Hymn to the Mother Earth)
Additinal artists from Nandighosha Group ----- Bruno Steffen: Arrangement, Mixing, Piano, Uno Corda, Harmonium, Synth pads, Strings, Bells, Back. Vocals, Clapping. Vivek Bhurtun: Tabla, Narration, Back.Vocals Rätus Flisch: Double Bass ---- 'MANTRA' (Hymn to Mother Earth) is an offering from all of us to our Mother Earth, who is the foundation of all things, living and non-living. It talks about  human actions to be cultivated to protect the planet and to sustain life on it with peace and harmony. We have many environmental issues, but in the current scenario, when the entire world is still struggling to combat the deadly Covid 19 with many human lives already lost, what we all need to do is to adopt a holistic approach towards living life, a lifestyle that exists in synchronisation with nature. A productive, diverse natural world and a stable climate forms the foundation of a successful civilisation, and its future. We must work together to have a world that functions beyond borders, race, caste, colors, rich, poor, human pride and biases.  If we continue living in ignorance and not change our attitude, we would be subjected to nature's fury and no doubt our planet like earlier times would take its own method of removing all those who are posing a threat to its existence.  So let us celebrate our planet Earth and let us work towards building a protected, valued, and sustainable environment for the future. Together we can have peace and prosperity.

We are Earthlings
Excitement for the ears here! We are Earthlings is a manifestation of diversity, created by five musicians representing five continents. Rather than providing a singular statement or theme, this song presents a playful exploration of our many inter-connected perspectives. Even the seemingly straightforward lyric ‘we play with fire’ can be interpreted as either threatening or empowering depending on the context. We are complex creatures, and every one of us lives the full spectrum of emotions. As the song progresses, we move from minor to major melodies, and despair is replaced by hope. We are Earthlings!

BHOOMI
Additional musicians ( from Nandighosha Group): Bruno Steffen: arrangement, piano, synth, harmonium, bass, bells, mixing Vivek Bhurtun:Tabla ------------------------------ The song 'Bhoomi' (The mother Earth) is the cry of the mother earth describing it's pain and agony caused by the insensitive usage of it's resources by human beings causing severe damage to it's core and the planet as a whole. The suffering of the mother Earth is beyond imagination. It is a fact that our mother Earth is amidst of many serious problems like pollution, deforestation, soil erosion, climate change, biodiversity loss etc because of the modern life style of human beings and due to there lack of consciousness, sensitivity, care and respect towards it. Since our survival is entirely dependent on the survival of the mother Earth and without her our existence is impossible, we must need to take care and protect our mother Earth to save the human civilization and the planet.

Eyes of the World
The Earth is a single magical and benevolent creature. All it asks of us is to zoom out from our tiny lives and see the world holistically. With eyes wide open, not putting on a show, but living conciously together.

Air
This song was derived from something we all need. Love is the inner abundance, and like love air is the exterior abundance. It is present and available at all times in our waking and sleeping. While we breathe, let us also remember the inward air of love that reminds us of its presence...creating a circle of true life.

BASUNDHARA
“Faith, waiting in the heart of a seed, promises a miracle of life which cannot prove at once.” ― Kabir ------------------------ Nature inspires, nature surprises; it makes you wonder struck often with its beauty and power. There were horrific wildfires in the Amazon rain forest followed by Australia wildfires in 2019, wild life was at its worst. The pictures of burnt animals were barely possible to see and heart wrenching. But then, when rain came, the fire ceased and there were these pictures on internet of new leaves, new sprouts and flowers coming out of burnt bushes. These pictures were hinting the very fact that Nature is the mightiest and she and only she has the power of creating and nurturing life. ------------------------------------------- ''Our song 'BASUNDHARA/ VASUNDHARA’ is an emotional out-pour of many events in past years affecting life in general. It is an imagination to have a beautiful morning/day with all the elements of nature’s in place, blooming, shining and living life without any problem. It is like a painted canvas/scenery of rising sun, greenery, flowers, birds, butterflies, river, mountain and stars in the night'' -Bijayashree, Moshe, Andreas

SHIRA
‘’Nature is full of meaning, filled with indescribable music. The trees, the stars and the blue hills ache with a meaning which can never be uttered in words’’ - Rabindranath Tagore Here is how we would like to sum our expression/motivation behind 'Shira' In Silence and Joy I dance to the tune of yours O Mother Earth, I exist because you exist I do not know which language you speak, but I've sung many times in your embrace You have spoken to me through your silence All those traveled through me, Became a melody, a song I sing in silence and joy. ------------------------------------------------- Our composition ‘Shira’ is a melody/ a conversation with the mother nature in awe of her eternal beauty realizing her abundant love, solace and protection. This composition ‘Shira’ is purposefully made without any spoken words as some emotions exist beyond words. We also believe that this composition is made with love for all, no matter which language one speaks.

Alfa
Alpha, the mature son of his Mother Nature who was not Her first manifestation of Life, but the first to understand some of Mothers deepest mysteries. Universal Mother of all Life, who forgives everything to Her son, giving him everything he will need to live. Even a virus if so.. Until the day when She herself needs Healing, for so many pains that She receives from this rational and intelligent son. Ours is the power to crystallize all Her beauty and health. The power to ask for forgiveness in all the languages of our “Babel tower”, or to simply abandon that request and start to compensate Mother simply recognizing Her importance, not just the mysteries. A daily gesture mirrored in us, sons, reflecting on our total dependence on Her well being. Hindi poetry represents the Mother's voice, who this time scolds and asks why we continue to call her Mother..Portuguese poetry represents your son's request for forgiveness. And all the sounds registered in the song such as all the timbres, felt this call inevitably. Gratitude Brothers and Sisters! Gratitude Mother!

Ila dunia ( save the earth )
Ila dunia(save the earth) Ila Dunia which means (save the earth) is a song that challenges us all to become aware of the state of our planet. Human beings exploit, ruin and destroy nature. The damage caused by our way of life is such that if nothing is done it could lead to irreversible consequences. This song that I suggest, is a call to change, in our habits, our vision, and our way of life. There is always a hope of saving our world, it that saw us being born and, which is obviously a unique gift that we can never replace.

Rainy Days
Bi: Even if our planet Earth's surface is covered with 97 percent of water, we can't drink it as they are salty. So 'Rain' is the most important factor to keep life on Earth. But due to pollution caused by modern life style have affected the rainfall and water cycle. The arrival of Rain has always been celebrated. People dance and sing to welcome the Monsoon/ the first Rain after the scorching summer. There is an outcry for Rain water harvesting which precisely means to conserve Rain water for future use. Our Song 'Rainy Days' celebrates the joy of rain on planet Earth and talks to value its importance. It  demands to conserve rain water in order to solve the water problem and also to help the life continue on Earth. Randy: We tried to express how cultural values becomes part of our consciousness and how certain concepts and ideas are understood and passed on from generation to generation such as rain harvesting considering that some cultures have elements in them that help their people understand the importance of rain harvesting for example therefore when this lesson is missed in school for whatever reason then a child learns in the way of life led by his/her culture or from elders who have been brought up on certain values that their culture teaches. This gives an indication that cultures hold values in them and can be useful to help teach people life lessons adapted to the language, ease and familiarity that may be understood better and faster than other methods

She gave us everything
Elly longed to create a song for the planet with just women. Now it sounds like a warm womb and the birth after. When we speak of earth we tend to say she is female, a mother. She nourishes and protects us, gives us air to breathe and healing herbs. She gave us everything, from the moment we crawled from the mud to our 'high' times in the high-rise buildings we live in now. Will it ever be enough?

SAKALA BANA PHOOL - Celebrating Spring
'Sakal Bana Phul' is a Sufi song/ Sufi Kalam written by the 13th century Sufi and mystic poet Amir Khushrow. The song celebrates the arrival of Spring (Basant) on planet earth and also describes the longing of a lover in this season. It is said that one day, the poet saw a group of women dressed up in bright yellow Sarees, carrying bright mustard flowers were singing with utmost joy. Upon asking the women replied that they are dancing to celebrate the arrival of spring and are on their way to offer flowers to the goddess in the nearest temple. This inspired Amir Khushrow to write this poetry/ Sufi Kalam for his spiritual master Hazrat Nizamuddin ( one of the most famous Sufis on the Indian subcontinent and worshiped by all religions across India) to make him happy who was mourning the death of his sister's son. Hazat Nizamuddin was much amused to see his disciple dressing up in a yellow Saree, carrying lot of mustard flowers and singing for him and could finally break in to a smile after long. So every year, arrival of spring was celebrated through Basant Panchmi at Hazrat Nizamuddin as well as in all parts of India. I have composed 'Sakala Bana Phool' the way I connect with the philosophy of behind the song. I am so happy the way Sasha arranged it. We both wish and hope, you all like it and the song really touches all your hearts. Let the music connects and serve the greater purpose of human existence. Thanks and regards, Bijayashree and Sasha

Diva (A Bird by Choice)
''Diva (A Bird by Choice)'' is a song celebrating the spirit of independent women across the world who dared to follow their dreams rising above of all the social boundaries. Sasha: I received an invitation from B (Bijayashree) for a collaboration exactly at the moment I finished my previous piece, and still had a hunger for more… Heard an idea proposed by B. and was really impressed to hear her vocal abilities :). I was happy to do it, as stylistically it’s different from what I usually do, and the challenge was a nice perspective to try my skills here. Bijayashree: This Original ''Diva (A Bird by Choice)'' is a composition close to my heart. I am very fortunate to meet the very talented, creative and humble musician Sasha on Beyond platform. Sasha agreed to work on my original composition even if the time was really short. His first bounce of the my original was what gave me the confidence that, we can do this together. As it says...Music has no language, this original composition has lyrics which does not necessarily has any meaning. It is a pure musical composition composed under the guidelines of a traditional Indian Raga. Sasha and me, we both look forward to see how this composition will be taken by the listeners. Wish and and hope that ''Diva (A Bird by Choice)'' touches all your hearts and you all resonate to the feeling of this original composition. Happy listening! Love and peace Bijayashree & Sasha
