Included in the first compilation, VOSSA album in Portuguese means "YOURS". Barco Negro, "Black Boat", original melody Mãe Preta - "Black Mother”. It tells the story of a mother slave who takes care of her "master's" son as if it were her own, while her little one was beaten, in the shadow of centuries-old slavery. Upon arriving in Portugal in the middle of the 20th century, the words were banned. However the poet David Mourão-Ferreira wrote another poem talking about the tragedy of a missing man at sea for the voice of Amália Rodrigues.
