This is a prayer written by François Villon in the 15th century in France. It has been performed by Bułat Okudżawa in Russia and made popular to the generation of my parents (also in Poland). Bułat Okudżawa was known for his expression against state-opression. It is a prayer for that everyone may get what the need - the wise man a head, the coward a horse. It is featuring Sebastian Gille, one of my most valued saxophone players of our times, for his great sensitivity, musicality and sound.
