In June 2017 I was invited by Bronwyn Lace to participate as a soloist in the Second Season. OUT was composed over 7 days and received 4 performances. I wrote a piece for electric violin and added effects that could be performed live from scratch. Aside from 4 simple presets, the entire piece is performed live. The intention was to remove the audience and myself from, or “OUT” of the familiarity of our comfort zones, but to create a piece of music that would be as mutually immersive a journey as possible, for the audience and myself.
