The track Mantra is based on a Tibetan Buddhist mantra and the original chant takes 9 beats,hence the tune is composed 9/4.The low bass mantra line is present throughout the entire tune and is supported at the beginning and end with a chant in unison. A four bar melody joins in and is played in a canon like fashion between two lead cellos. In the second half of the tune the canon appears in retrograde simultaneously with the continuous original 4 bar melody.
