Rise up' is about walking the line between hope and despair for our planet. It is a story-song written about a person who has everything, but who struggles to enjoy happiness knowing how much suffering there is in the world. Ultimately the song represents the journey that anyone of conscience must make on a planet in turmoil, asking ‘how can I feel happy, when others are not free’. But the song still holds hope, as ‘love finds a way through the dark nights’, finally saying ‘you must be the change you seek, you must cease the war in you’.

This song is about hope for earth, many things have happened and many are still going to happen but earth depends on our hope as humanity to thrive.
