Rise Up

Rise up' is about walking the line between hope and despair for our planet. It is a story-song written about a person who has everything, but who struggles to enjoy happiness knowing how much suffering there is in the world. Ultimately the song represents the journey that anyone of conscience must make on a planet in turmoil, asking ‘how can I feel happy, when others are not free’. But the song still holds hope, as ‘love finds a way through the dark nights’, finally saying ‘you must be the change you seek, you must cease the war in you’.

We can be.

For us to save and take care of the planet we first need to know how to take care of one another, work together towards healing from things as humans then as we heal the way we treat the planet will change. The song is about where we need to start in order to be able to work together, we first need first introspection, erase the internal turmoil for a fresh and healthy relationship with each other as humans.

We only got this World

Flameboy Universe: Let us take care of the earth.. there is nothing much to it than being considerate, this world has never harmed us what can be so hard to treat it like wise. Han Beyli: The message of the song truly captivated me and brought attention to the most crucial and important aspects of our lives. The courage to change. It's gonna define our future and the future of our planet. We have to be aware and educate ourselves, and one of the best ways to do so is through art and music.

Siwbulele (We have harmed Earth)

This is a song lamenting about how much we have contributed to the corroding of the world and everything bad that is happening in it, but still there is hope since all we have to do is change and do the right thing and the human race.

Sasha: New times - new adjusted directions. In light of recent events we came up with the idea to cheer up and propose a spiritual alternative to fear - JOY! Anat: For me, music has always been a cure. Whenever I’m in the presence of music, my spirit is uplifting. The ability to give this gift to others, is a total blessing. Sakhile: This is a positivity song that is meant to keep people in good spirit during all the depressing situations that the world faces every day, music is one medicine that hits and you feel no pain (Bob Marley).

We can do better than this...

Flameboy Universe: This song is meant to open the eyes when it comes to understanding why some of these terrible things are happening around the world, the prime culprits is us as people, our actions contribute towards the world suffering, the best effective way to change the situation is to do better as a people. Sasha: Just to add to Sakhile’s words - I decided to use a sample of the “Knyaz Igor “ opera by Alexander Borodin. It represents a nostalgic longing to be at the place where you feel safe and home, where your freedom is an absolute.
