I studied Dhrupad in India with the big maestros 2004 till 2012. Since 2009 I am performing and composing. As a Dhrupad Yogini I am strong at microtones and improvisation both in melody and in rhythm. Long experience in western choirs & as a violinist too. I'm an out of the box thinker with a strong conceptional interlinking mind. I'm also very emotional and intuitiv.
Happy to be on Beyond Music, getting in contact with so many creative deep musicians globally.

The voice and the Kyl are dancing with eachother: it’s a dialogue between the inner & the outer world, merging the human being with the universe. There is no lyrics. It is about pure sound… Raag Darbari Kanada/D matches best the Kazach folk musicsystem/K. Nevertheless of the same scale, these 2 musicsystems are conflicting: the minor 3rd & the minor 6th are high in K. & very low in D. etc. The ongoing electronic beat & the playing around consciously with these differences is merging the Kyl and the voice, harmonizing this conflict.
Humans are rolling in the cycle of rebirth. Stucking in this very world. Never reaching a point of satisfaction. It is an un-cozy painful situation. Suffering! Because things are slipping away, changing always... Life is a complex matter and very conflictual. The idea is to create a sacral interreligious music, which is expressing the struggle to come out of this cycle. A slightly threatening space, a non-easy beauty. We do not focus on one particular genre, music system or religion. Instead we create something new, something universal…
