Kilter was released in December 2020 and is a work which I co-wrote with composer, Jenni Watson. The track combines minimalist jazz influences, whilst demanding a clean, classical soprano saxophone sound. The sax melodies began as improvised cells which were then developed and layered. This piece is one of 12 tracks on our upcoming album which will be released over the coming months. The project began as an online, saxophone series, which provided saxophonists around the world with newly composed pieces (by Jenni Watson).
