This track come from a soundtrack I composed for the famous theatre performance by Shakespeare: ”MacBeth”. It show a side of the music I compose for stories on stage, mix of world music, strange sound design or instruments. at the service of an emotion and to define a climate. Here, the story was set in the Middle Ages, but I wanted my music to evoke a timeless place where lies and betrayal have been rampant for a long, long time. It's also the idea of a tragedy that moves inexorably forward.
