Ode to the Womb is the result of an invitation from a bellydancer soon to be a mother to create a soundtrack for a dance to be an Ode to the Womb. The base rhythm it's the middle-eastern Shiftitelli, which is very common in bellydancing, but here it's played on a Tombak - which is an Iranian percussion instrument - and also on a Handpan or Pantam, also known as Hang. On top of that I'm singing an original melody, using sound effects to create an octave bellow and another above my original voice.
