This is a track from the 2nd album I recorded and mixed for neo-folk band Cesair. I was part of the band as a composing member for 7 years. The aim during the making of this album was to create a big, epic, mythical sonic world for the music. We decided on layering the cello skills of string player Sophie to build a lush string bed and haunting bridge. The band doesn't aim to be authentic in historical senses, neither do they want the CD to sound exactly like the live performance. I also play accordion in this piece.
