This piece is based on a sign language poem by Elsa G. Björnsdóttir - a sign language artist. Elsa is performing this poem herself with a choir, piano and a bass drum. Since Elsa is completely deaf, we use the drum to stay in rhythm together and we manage to combine hearing and sign language art.
