I composed this song in 2020 after losing my brother to a rare, cruel disease. The loss almost tore our family apart. It made me search deeply to find strength. I went to church and heard the preacher say that God's guidance is like a flashlight. All you have to do is shine it in front of your feet and take one step into the light at a time. No need to see all the way forward or around.
