In this piece, titled "Loventine", I try to combine the mysterious tonality of the Maqam (Middle Eastern modal system) with the richness and diversity of western harmony. This piece is dedicated to the well-being of all lives in the Middle East. Technically speaking, I use alternate tuning on my guitar in order to create a microtonal raised minor 3rd.
