From my follow-up record with "Lorenz Hargassner Quartet" in 2011. This one was written out of a scale from Nicholas Slominsky's "Thesaurus of Patterns & Scales" which was also a major inspiration for John Coltrane. It's in 5/4 time, and, as the title says, a collage of different layers. After the head there is a free improvisation that's inspired by the likes of Rahsaan Roland Kirk or Eric Dolphy. It's more about energy than about construction in order to balance the creative sources of the piece.
