An appeal to my mother to see if I can have her love and respect for free or do I have to keep doing things that wont disappoint her so that I can be loved. And an acknowledgement from myself within the song that love isn't something I should have to buy but that I should have unconditionally. And therefore in the chorus I turn to mother nature for the ultimate unconditional love.
