Sea of Stars by Lauren Scott for lever harp & pedal harp duo, written in 2020. It is inspired by bio-luminescent plankton that glows in the dark. It uses special techniques (some of which were specially developed by Lauren) to create a magical sparkly effect reminiscent of those amazing sea creatures. Sea of Stars is written so that each harp has its own unique 'voice’. The pedal harp with powerful chords and the lever harp with filigree figures. The two harps combine a sparkly and funky up-beat piece.
