HoSha'na - הושענא
Hoshana Rabbah (Aramaic: הוֹשַׁעְנָא רַבָּא‎, lit. 'Great Hoshana/Supplication') is the seventh day of the Jewish holiday of Sukkot, the 21st day of the month of Tishrei. This day is marked by a special synagogue service, the Hoshana Rabbah, in which seven circuits are made by the worshippers with their lulav and etrog, while the congregation recites Hoshanot. It is customary for the scrolls of the Torah to be removed from the ark during this procession. In a few communities a shofar is sounded after each circuit. The song is speaking about the power of the earth and land, there is a huge shout of a man who asks from god to bless the earth, the land, the fruits, the seeds and the nature. The lyrics to this song were written by one of my favorite artists names Eviatar Banai combined with a prayer for Sukkot holiday, I have decided to give it my interpretation and recored it in my home studio.
