White noise and electric guitar. These two elements are the basis for PHIL & ZOIA's music for WHITENOISELAND. WHITENOISELAND was a co-production by Philipp Zuercher and Steven Goetz. Philipp wrote eight pieces for Steven's artistically animated images of a trip to Iceland. In programming the sounds, he implemented Steven's idea of integrating the rugged nature’s variations of white noise into the live soundtrack. ZOIA is a modular device from the Canadian company Empress Effects.
