Anatolian ballad, 'Uzun Ince Bir Yoldayım,' written by the blind poet Asik Veysel (1894-1973), finds new life in my arrangement, fostering a rich cross-cultural dialogue. Collaborating with musicians coming from diverse backgrounds, including Cyprus, Iran, and the USA, we breathe fresh, global resonance into this timess melody. The tune is recorded at AKSS studio at Berklee College of Music in Valencia with Elana Sasson (vocal & saz), Manos Stratis (double bass) & Anthony Lafond (drums).
