From our record "pure desmond - When Lights Are Low" that won the German Critics Award in 2012. It's one of the favorite titles of audiences worldwide. The idea was to "invert" Paul Desmond's famous composition "Take Five" into something up-to-date by using a modern groove but staying in the same form, with a similar bridge based on II-V-I harmonies. The solo is conctructed "freely" over the groove but follows a certain arc to create tension. Co-written by our guitarist Johann Weiss.
