I’ve spent so much of my life thinking something or someone, or some kind of success would come into my life and make it all perfect. I’ll be happy when..., but I’ve learned over the past few years that that’s not true. And while I know this logically, I still struggle with it. So I wrote this song to remind myself that nothing on the outside can make me happy. My happiness is 100% in my control and it starts with me, because my “Happy Is On Me”. And I hope everyone will claim their own happy.
