About me

Accra, Ghana

Raised in Cameroon, I discovered my passion for music at 13, finding solace in its melodies amid family struggles. At 16, I stepped into the music world, but my father's absence haunted me. Despite earning a marketing diploma, my desire for creative expression led me to film school. Winning the MTN Make the Music competition brought highs but also fleeting success. Amid personal struggles, I found solace in faith, launching "Quiet Time with Natty" and "Giveback" concerts, where music became a healing force. Guided by theology studies, I aim to inspire through my music. Relocating to Accra, I found love, became a mother, and pursued further education. Now, blending Neo Soul, R&B, folklore, and pop, my music reflects resilience. Pursuing a master's in Mass Communications, I aim to amplify my voice, spreading messages of love and hope through melody.

Bold and Beautiful

Bold and Beautiful inspires the African woman to be proud of her color and marks, as her beauty within will find better expression in the struggle. The African woman is stereotypically 'marked' in society. Marking can be physical (body marking) or mental (sex objectification, childcare and home burden bearers etc). Women have often been subjected to these forms of identification to the point that breaks their confidence and person. The soul-deep melodies and lyrics drive woman power at the core.

Earth Cry

“Earth Cry”. The song is of massive contrasts. “The screaming planet”. It starts with the lead guitar screaming out in anger. It screams in protest throughout the song right at the point of distortion. “The harmonious planet”. The piano and strings portray a mellow planet. “The dependable Planet”. The jazzy rhythm guitar portrays mother earth as, dependable and solid. It is consistent in temperament and volume, even while the lead guitar is screaming in protest, the rhythm guitar does the opposite, restoring harmony and balance.
