Aval Allah

"Aval Allah" is based on the poetry of the Indian poet Kabir. His poetry has remained a pillar of unification. While leading a music workshop with children on an organic farm, one of them started singing Kabir. "Dheerey Dheerey Hey Manna Dheerey Sab kuch Hoye, Maali Seenchey Sau Ghada…" which means slowly o mind, slowly all things happen, the gardener sows seeds in 100 pots and the seasons come and plants grow. We have carried the energy of Kabir across the world. The song is an invitation to grow and feel united in our various differences.

Seeds of love

"Seeds of love" tells about the experiences Bhoomitra had with organic farmers. It expresses the work being done by an organic farmer, who works with love. The song also reflects on a journey of a seeker along his path. It is a fusion of classical Indian music with western. To give it a feel of a global collaboration we were working with Raushan, who brought a Kazakh traditional folk element. Ariel Bart added New York energy with her harmonica, Gaetan a soft delicate yet powerful double and Andreia Portugese adventure with her percussions.

SPRING

We are living in a unique time that reminds us just how much humanity is depended upon the nature of our planet. We are experiencing a very strange time with a world pandemic, which changed everything for us humans, it turned everything we knew upside down. However nature seams stronger than ever. This song came to me one morning while I was looking through my window at the amazing power of nature's awakening from winter to spring. The colors and sweet sent of blossoming flowers, the buzzing sounds of bees, birds singing and flying about.

Shabad Guru

Shabad guru - the sacred word takes us from darkness to light. It has its origins with mystic philosopher Guru Nanak in Punjab. He was an accomplished musician. His use of music to connect people with their spiritual cores and understand the oneness of life is an eternal message which finds relevance in our times as well. This song is registered in what is regarded as the greatest treasure of music from the 11th to the 17th century in India. With our collaboration we are looking at the song in a fresh perspective.
